Last september 12-14 (wednesday-friday) the the Youth 4 IT congress was held at SM North Edsa Quezon City. It is an annual meeting of IT or Computer or simply Technology Enthusiasts organized by the UPITTC (UP Information Technology Training Center). wherein different speakers from different IT or Computer company or even people from the senate were invited to talk about thier IT experience and how technology evolves and how it can affect our future as students (as most of the viewers were).
...................... enough... haha ayoko nung format nung first paragraph msyadong serious! OMG! hahah!!! oh eto ung all original na experience ko!
lets take this day by day...
first day (sept 12, 2007) Commuting Excitement
345am: krrrrrrrrring krrrrrrng... toooot tooot tooot... my not so alarming wake up call....
400: finally!!! i woke up.... prepped up
430: goofed around the house as if i have no plans for the day... hahah!
500: ate breakfast with kuya at 711
600am: left elbi and went to manila (finally!)
enough of that time bla bla... bsta heres the story... we arrived at north edsa at exactly eight 8 in the morning then our teacher gave us the total freedom to pick what cinema we would like to enter. (as you can see the there are 4 cinemas in this congress and each has different topics that are discussed.) the AM part of the program was not so fun coz' the gay emcee was having a hard time making the students laugh and enjoy the show for some reason the students in this cinema seem to be sooo effin' serious... in my case uhm lets just say i dont enjoy gay humor... coz i find it quite offensive. but hey i dont really care as long as its not me! ahahah!... the first speaker was a guy from sun microsysytems and of course he talked about his company and what it does... he also introduced to us thier new program that has something to do with the iphone and java.
then lunchtime came... i was all alone hahah! but its okay coz for some reason i enjoyed the company of solitude... i know it may sound so emostatic but no i didnt mean that in that sort of way! i enjoyed it because i was able to walk aroud the mall all by myself and i was able to buy a pair of checkered shoes! oooh lala! but since were only given an hour to have lunch i was not able to buy myself some food but its okay coz' when i return at the cinema we were again given afternoon snacks.
during the PM session of the congress a gamer was the speaker.. i really enjoyed her presentation ragarding the gaming industry here in the philippines...
waaaaaah wooooh waaah here it goes!! the best part! i get to travel the roads of manila and QC alone! ahahahah! nkakaaliw... i get to experience how its like to commute in manila... stressful yet enjoyable... during this first day i was lyk hopping while taking the stairs on my way up to the mrt... heheh...
second day (sept 13, 2007) Solitary Day
600am woke up, and prepped up... again feeling all XD XD XD hahah! coz this time i will experience commuting in manila during morning time.... wherein people are on the rush to get to school and work...
730 left the house with ate badeth and travelled to QC to attend the second day of the conference... phew i did a lot of "katangahans" along the way... heheh... lyk asking the guard sa mrt station cubao kung "san po ba ung papuntang cubao?" eh hello! ija youre already in cubao!! hahah... but the stupid guard without realizing my being stupid answered me with a "doon po maam" ahahahah!!! crazy!!!
815 finally i arrived at sm north edsa... phew... i was kinda late tho... heheh... so when i arrived at the cinema for the congress i saw my teacher and got my ticket... and entered cinema 9, all alone! as in literally all alone! not a single participant entered the cinema... soo i sorta stayed there for some time but when like 30 minutes passed and no one was still entering the cinema i decided to go and leave and go to cinema 12... wherein the place is the total opposite of cinema 9 because it was jam packed! hahah...
nkakapagod na ung timeline... gnto na lang pra mas staright to the point heheheh...
oh wel after that bla bla blas made by the speakers lunchtime came... so again i ate lunch or should i say a big plate of nachos all alone... during this trip solitude was my constant companion... although it sounds so dramatic the reality behind is that im really enjoying spending time all by myself... oh ayan ntapos na ang lunch since wala dn nmn akong mpuntahan i was left with no choice but to go back to cinema 12 but since it was so full i just decided to transfer to cinema 11 then poof... the speaker was a representative from the senate of the philippines specifically mr palengke... mr mar roxas... not really a fan of him tho... heheh i find him so showbizzy... heheh... i just find it quite nice to hear him talk about the IT Job industry here in the phillipines... then question and answer portion came.. ahahah! oh my this was heck of a shit! full of damn silly questions that the teachers or the participants from other schools argued... after the fun fun fun presentation of mr palengke... ms aimee marcos was next... oh my she looks so classy... hehehe.. oh well heheh.. then she discussed about cream... or creative media philippines.. its an organization that promotes the creative media here in the philippines. after her talk i got really exhausted and sleepy that i decided to just leave and go home...
so again i was hopping extatically on my way to the mrt station going to cubao when my brother texted me that he was just around in manila and that he wanted to meet up with me at megamall so i decide to lengthen my mrt trip a little so from cubao i went to down at the ortigas station... sadly it was raining... but luckilly i have an umbrella... heheheh oh ano ngaun un?!?!? (ganan tlaga, ella's crazy talk ang tawag jn, heheh) finally i arrived at megamall all soaked up with the rain... baaaah! but since kuya's on his way pa lang... i went to powerbooks to spare some time... damn that bookstore!!! pinaglaway lang ako sa libro na dko nmn mabili... kc wala na akong pera/budget! TAE nmn tlaga oo!! heheheh oh well okay lang kc babalikan ko un! bwahahahahahahahahahah!!! (another crazy talk... heheheh) then after killing an hour finally kuya and ate badeth arrived... then after roaming around the mall... we decided to go home... kuya went home to elbi... wala kc ksama c mama... kme ni ate badeth we went home to pasig... tpos pguwe nanood akong TV! bwahahah channel2 oo may TV na cla kuya!!! yeah yeah yeah!!! ung may antenna!!! waaaah... *(we dont have a socially connected TV at home (elbi)... its only purpose is for DVD playing)... after dozing myself with TV i decided to sleep and wake up early for the last day of the congress...

third day (sept 14, 2007) Takas day heheh
okay i woke up early this day fearing that i would get late and miss the chance of meeting up with faye and jasmine... finally d na nko solitary! i will get to experience the chance of attending this congress with friends... (but while i was riding the lrt and mrt, i was somewhat dramatic, coz since this is the last day of the seminar i will be riding the trace van on my way home to elbi, meaning last ko na nsakay sa mrt for this season) but the problem was that i was too early... i was already at the meeting area when my teacher texted me that they are still at alabang... oh my! heheh... pero okay lang kc wala nmn akong choice but to wait... then an hour minutes passed and finally they arrived... heheheh... picture picture... ahahaha!
so okay faye jasmine and i were really bugged by the boredom bug when we entered the cinema... specially me coz i have been listening to those almost "the same talks about the IT industry" so then we decided to go out and roam around... since it is located at sm north edsa which is basically in front of trinoma... we were easily temted with the thought of "pagtakas" eheheh... so okay after deciding run away from it all... plans changed that we decided to go to megamall... so next thing i knew we were at the mrt station on the way to the ortigas station...
when we arrived at the megamall station... phew! ahaha we were so dayum hungry that we decided to eat...after eating lunch... we went and had a heck of fun roaming around megamall, that time flew so fast that we decided to go back to north edsa without a single thing bought but a ton of calories ate... heheheh... although okay lang nmn coz' faye finally got her phone "open lined" so that she can finally switch to a globe sim, and enjoy the fun of unlitextin...
when we got back to north edsa where the congress was held the show or the congress was oficially finished... but since the students were given more time to roam around we decided to again enjoy the fun that sm malls bring.. eheheh... then my moomie called me and told me that i will not be joining the trace van and that i will be spending one more day in manila, because kuya wont be able to go back to manila and since brenda (ate badeth's (kuyas lovey dovey) sister) is asked to go to elbi, im gonna go back to kuya's place in pasig and spend the night and when morning comes, me and burenda will both go back to elbi. so okay yey!!! but no i was feeling kinda different after roaming around for the whole day... then something came up again, ehehe not that much of a big deal tho... its just that theres a show in sm north edsa... so me and my friends took a peek... a peek lang kc may BO ung nkatabi nla faye na guy!!! eeeck!!! ahahah!!! so after that going home time na for them and me im off to pasig again, so we bid our fun goodbyes...
on my way to the mrt station i was really really tired... phew that was like the hardest feeling of traveling ever... pero okay lang mejo naenjoy ko pa dn mski pagod nko... eheheh... so aun finally i arrived home to pasig... pero oh my "bagsak na tlaga ako!!!", as in pgdating ko toink nkahiga nko sa floor!!!... then brenda touched my neck "nangingiliti" eheheh coz she was waking me up to eat dinner... when she realized that im sick... she yelled "c ate esi (my nickname) nilalagnat, ang init") then for the whole night i was really sick, aaack!!! grabe, my temperature was 40!!!
next day... and next weeks... basta after na ng Y4IT!!!
then the sun rose and i was still sick, so ate badeth decided to take me to the hospital... when we arived at medical city i was stuck at the emergency building for the whole morning coz' i was hydrated in other words dinextrose ako... and a lot of medicines and tests were took... oh my msakit ung pgkuha skn ng dugo! grabe, i felt like i was going to faint... then after that series of tests the doctor told me that theres really nothing wrong with me i kust got hit by a virus (parang ung pc ko a month ago, heheheh) then after that release from the hospital, since i felt like i was again somewhat capable we decided to go home to elbi, thankfully nkauwi pa nmn akong los banos... but when i got home, i was again sick... i just thought that i was tired from all the travel, so i just took a rest, but the next day, my nose was bleeding, my moomie got scared that i might have dengue... so she got me checked up again at LBDH... so okay o was diagnosed as a typhoid victim, so i was confined!!!! i got stucked up at the hospital for three days doing nothing but munch tons of jelly ace and engrossed my eyes with TV... but finally after three days nkalabas dn... alive and kicking na ule ako!! yeehaaa
